Action, If Received Distress Alert

 If you have received Distress Alert in VHF Ch. 70 in Area  A1 ?

* Stop alarm, Log Down the distress alert & Inform Master.

* Set watch on VHF CH. 16 for R/T Call & Message.

* Wait for CRS ( Coast Radio Station ) to Acknowledge .

* Acknowledge by R/T procedure on Ch. 16 .

* If No acknowledge from CRS within 5 min relay the alert to any CRS/CES/RCC by any practicable means.

If you have received  Distress  
Alert in MF 2187.5 Khz in Area A2 ?

* Stop alarm, Log Down the distress alert & Inform Master.

* Set watch on 2182 Khz for R/T Call & Message.

* Wait for CRS ( Coast Radio Station ) to Acknowledge .

* Acknowledge by R/T procedure on 2182 Khz .

* If No acknowledge from CRS within 5 min relay the alert to any CRS/CES/RCC by any practicable means.

If you have received Distress
Alert in MF 2187.5 Khz in Area A3/A4 ?

* Stop alarm, Log Down the distress alert & Inform Master.

* Set watch on 2182 Khz for R/T Call & Message.

* Acknowledge immediately by R/T procedure on 2182 Khz .

* Relay the alert to any CRS/CES/RCC by any practicable means.

If you have received Distress 
Alert on Ch. 70 in Area A3/A4 ?

* Stop alarm, Log Down the distress alert & Inform Master.

* Set watch on VHF Ch. 16 for R/T Call & Message.

* Acknowledge immediately by R/T procedure on Ch 16 .

* Relay the alert to any CRS/CES/RCC by any practicable means.

If you have received Distress 

Alert on Any HF in Any Areas ?

* Stop alarm, Log Down the distress alert & Inform Master.

* Set watch on corresponding HF R/T distress Frequency.

* Will not Acknowledge .

* Wait for 5 min for CRS to Acknowledge.

* If no acknowledge from CRS, relay the alert to any CRS/CES/RCC by any practicable means.
