What is ISPS Code ?
International Ship and Port Facility Security Code is a set of maritime regulation designated to help detect and determine threats to international maritime security. the code Applies to all SOLAS vessel over 300 GRT engaged in international voyage and all port facilities serving such ships. ISPS in-force on 1st July 2004.
- Ship Identification Number to be permanently marked on vessel's hulls.
- Continuous Synopsis Record (CSR) kept on-board showing vessel history.
- Ship or Port Security Assessment /Ship or Port Facility Security Plan.
- Ship or Port facility Security Certificate
